Envista Federal Credit Union Named Diamond Awards Recipient

Envista Federal Credit Union was among 168 credit unions nationwide named as winners of the prestigious Diamond Award. The recognition was part of the Marketing & Business Development Council of America’s Credit Unions annual marketing excellence competition.

Envista’s winning campaign won in the category of Financial Education for their “Fighting Fraud: Make Sure It’s Us” campaign, launched in late 2023. The campaign included a series of educational videos, emails, social media content and a dedicated Fraud Defense resource website to help educate and protect members from fraud, and more specifically, account takeovers. Ashley Schmidt, creative director for Envista, responded to the need and seamlessly executed all aspects of the award-winning campaign.

“Unfortunately, as consumers shift toward digital and online behaviors, the risk of financial fraud increases drastically. We want to change that,” said Schmidt. “Envista has always taken great pride in the relationships we’ve built with our members, and it was important to us to do our part in protecting and educating our community. With this campaign, we were able to quickly build valuable tools and resources to raise awareness and position our institution as a trusted partner.”

Through their efforts, Envista successfully lowered all credit and debit card fraud losses by over 22 percent in 2023.

The Diamond Award competition recognizes the best marketing campaigns in the credit union industry from the past year. Credit unions, advertising agencies, and associations submitted a record 1,451 submissions for the prestigious award and, in all, 168 organizations from 44 states and the District of Columbia were selected as winners.

This year's Diamond Awards marked a milestone, celebrating 30 years of excellence in credit union marketing and setting a new record with over 350 awards distributed – underscoring the exceptional quality of marketing work being produced by credit unions nationwide.
