Starting May 1, all shared branching credit unions—including Envista—will begin using a new security feature called IDCheck to better protect members from identity theft and account takeover.
If you're a member visiting another credit union through the Shared Branch network—or if a non-Envista member visits one of our locations—you may be asked to complete IDCheck when using an out-of-state ID for a withdraw.
How It Works:
1. Go to verify.coop.org or scan the QR code in the branch.
2. Upload a photo of your government-issued ID and take a quick selfie.
3. You’ll receive an access code to share with the teller, completing the identity verification process.
Why IDCheck Matters:
• Protects against account takeover and identity theft.
• Keeps shared branching secure for everyone.
• Creates a faster, safer, and more confident transaction experience.
