EnvistaCares Challenge Results Announced

Operation Wildlife and Envista Credit Union are pleased to announce that Operation Wildlife will receive the EnvistaCares Challenge gift of $2,500 from Envista as a match to the generosity of the community’s donations of $4,797.  In total Operation Wildlife received $7,297 in donations during the month of October.

“It is currently an especially competitive time for nonprofits and every bit of financial support helps,” said Diane Johnson, executive director for Operation Wildlife.  We are grateful that Envista Credit Union and the community came out with this support to help us to continue this mission.”

Operation Wildlife has cared for injured, displaced or orphaned wild animals in northeast Kansas since 1989. The animals are received from a variety of sources, including: Kansas Wildlife and Parks, Kansas Highway patrol and other law enforcement agencies, animal control officers, veterinarians, and private individuals.

“Our goal at Envista is to lead, inspire and make an impact with our giving,” said Secily Rees, market development officer for Envista. “We are inspired by the leadership of Operation Wildlife and their commitment to care for injured and orphaned wild animals in North East Kansas.”
